Scrapbooking, Meow

I have had a much quieter week after the our great upstairs flood.  I even got this layout done for the Memory Nest.  It looks really blue on the computer, but in person it has more green  and teal tones to it.  Sometimes the computer can't bring the richness out.  This page is for my little guy and his beloved Meow.  Meow is the kitty's name and it goes everywhere with him.  He is so attached to his stuffies and blankets.  He is the complete opposite of my daughter who doesn't really form any attachment to things.  Anyways, I used gel medium on the background to make the triangles, stars, and dots.  Then when it dried I used water colors to make the background.  After that I layered scraps of paper and put my embellishments down.  Overall this page came together quick for me and that usually doesn't happen.  I did print color companions to these black and white photos.  I wanted to make them flaps, but I messed up on the sizes so that didn't work out.  I'll …

So we had to have water damage people come and they put…
