My Trip: Cascade Mountain is just about the easiest mountain to climb, except for the very top where it is all rock. Most people have no problem with the rock, but I am not the most graceful of people and I am not a fan of the possibility of falling off and not having anything to stop me. The actual climb up was uneventful. Most of the time there was just trees, but near the top (just a little before the junction for Porter) there was a nice rock spot for taking some pictures. Surprisingly, there were only a small handful of people climbing that mountain, so when we got to the top, we were the only ones there. The top is flat, so William and I tried to do a little juggling. Unfortunately, it was too windy for us to do passing, so we just had to juggle by ourselves. The view was amazing. Cascade has a 360 view in which you can see some towns on one side and a whole lot of High Peaks on the other, including a very nice view of Porter.
