Scrapbooking Spring

I finally got around to printing a few recent photos of Moose.  It is nice to take a brake from all the baby photos.  I had so much fun making this page with all its little details and bright colors.  I normally struggle with titles for my pages, but not this time and I just love how it came out.  I also found a great spot for a little wooden owl whose colors went perfectly. I tried to not go over board with the embellishments. I loved the color in the key and the heart sticker above it is super fun with its shakable silver confetti. I made a little orange calender to make note of the date.  I see myself making lots of little calenders in the future for my pages. I just think wrapping a cut out with some thread added some interest to what was a boring purple paper flower.

Scrapbooking, Baby Bath

This page looks really cute in person, but my photo of it doesn't do it justice.  I had a hard time getting a layout that I liked because I knew I wanted a bunch of photos and could only trim them down so much. The title came from the sound Moose made while we were bathing her.  It sounded so much like she said wet.  I also drew out the paper lines so it looked like it came from writing paper.  I also drew the grid on the back paper for more interest. The ribbon looks really cool in person and I cut out some paper fringe to go behind it for a little more depth.

Scrapbooking Memories, Dr. Visit

One minute I'm sewing and the next I'm scrapbooking.  I needed a break from sewing so I decided to scrapbook Moose's first Dr. visit.  It was kind of tricky because my pictures were only so so.  I left my journaling in the envelope.  I used some Dr. stickers that I have had for a really long time.

Dragon Tail

I'm so excited on how this dragon tail came out.  I just made it real quick for Moose's friend's birthday.  I have plans to make another one for Moose, but I'm going to make hers more girly...think purple sparkles and yellow polkadots.

Scrapbooking the Rainbow

This is my new page that I love.  I looked at these pictures and rearranged them a million times, but I finally got it to work. This is an art blob that I cut up and then used markers to darken the edges. The wooden rainbow was actually my inspiration for this page.  I've had that rainbow lying around for a few years and I finally got it to work on a page. I used up lots of old bits on this page.

Scrapbooking Milestones

It has been so nice outside that I have not wanted to be inside much at all.  So I've been scrapbooking at night and my pages always looks so different when I look back at it in the morning.  I've giving up on scrapbooking in chronological order.  I've fallen way to far behind.  Sigh.  I used some old ribbon bits and paper that I had lying around.  I have way to much and I really need to use a lot of it up.  My new goal is to just use what I have.
